Paolo Soleri Arcosanti Cosanti Ceramic Tiles

A beautiful pair of decorative ceramic tiles by Italian architect, Paolo Soleri, was created at his famous experimental urban living project, Arcosanti in Arizona, USA. The tiles date from the 1960s or 70s. A stunning glaze with an abstract drawing that catches the eye.

Condition
The condition of the tile on the left in photo is mint, condition of tile on the right is small nick on the top left corner. Due to the handmade nature, the tiles are not precisely the same and the dimensions vary on each tile.

About the Artist
Paolo Soleri (21 June 1919 – 9 April 2013) was an Italian-born American architect. He established the educational Cosanti Foundation and Arcosanti.
